This year, according to the American Cancer Society, nearly 300,000 new cases of invasive breast cancer will be diagnosed in women in the United States alone, with another 56,000 cases of ductal carcinoma in situ — an affliction of milk ducts that turn malignant, which is said to be an early form of breast cancer. more
