BARTOW-PELL Mansion, located at 895 Shore Road, will host its third annual Harvest Festival, on Saturday, Oct. 24, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. During this event, visitors can paint pumpkins, make a cornhusk doll, prepare Native American foods and hear stories about Native American Halloween celebrations. SAINT PAUL’S Church National Historic Site, located at 897 S. Columbus Ave., in Mount Vernon, N.Y., will hold the following special events this weekend:

• On Friday, Oct. 16, from 7 to 9 p.m., the church will host a live concert of colonial folk music, as well as a candlelight tour of the centuries-old St. Paul’s cemetery. Visitors will get to visit the graves of soldiers and civilians who lived through the American Revolution. Complimentary refreshments will be served.
• The church will present the special program, “Revolutionary War Encampment,” on Saturday, Oct. 17, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This event will commemorate the Battle of Pell’s Point, an important but often overlooked Revolutionary War battle, which was fought in Westchester County on Oct. 18, 1776. The day will feature activities such as musket firings and militia drills, historic children’s games and toys, period crafts and cooking demonstrations, talks on the American Revolution, colonial music and dozens of costumed re-enactors representing the armies that fought in the war.

BERNIE’S NEW York will hold the following guided tours during the upcoming weekend:

• “Crossroads of the World,” a special walking tour through the Times Square District, will take place on Saturday, Oct. 17, at 2 p.m. During this event, participants will get to see the reinvented Times Square District, the new pedestrian walkways and the new TKTS Booth topped by a red glass staircase. Other stops on the tour include the statues of Father Duffy and George M. Cohan, the former I. Miller shoe store building, St. Malachy’s Church, the Hudson Theater, the Paramount Building and more. Participants should meet at the southeast corner of West 43rd Street and Sixth Avenue.
• “L.E.S.: The Home of Immigrants,” a public walking tour of Manhattan’s Lower East Side, will take place on Sunday, Oct. 18, at 2 p.m. Highlights of the tour include visits to the Eldridge Street Synagogue, the birthplace of Ira Gershwin, the former Daily Forward building, the Tenement Museum and more. Participants should meet at the southeast corner of Grand and Forsyth streets. Each tour costs $15 per person and reservations are not required. For more information, call 718-655-1883.
