PELHAM BAY Park, located at Bruckner Boulevard and Wilkinson Avenue, presents the special program “Astronomy,” on Sunday, Nov. 15, at 6 p.m. Visitors will get to use a high-powered telescope to explore the evening sky, as well as learn how to identify constellations, stars and the different phases of the moon. All participants should meet at the park’s ranger station. The event, which is free and open to the public, will be held only if the weather permits. Call 718-885- 3467 on the day of the program to confirm.
