13th Congressional District voter guide

The map shows the newly drawn congressional lines. Registered Democrats in Kinsgbridge, Van Cortlandt Village, Kingsbridge Heights and Marble Hill can vote for candidates in Congressional District 13. Residents of Riverdale and Spuyten Duyvil, as well as a slice of Kingsbridge (on Irwin Avenue or west side of Tibbett Avenue) can vote for Rep. Eliot Engel or challenger Aniello Grimaldi in Congressional District 16.

Election Day is here! Here's a roundup of the candidates running in the 13th Congressional District Democratic primary.

Longtime incumbent Rep. Charles Rangel is being challenged for his seat by four Manhattanites: state Sen. Adriano Espaillat, who currently represents part of Riverdale, Joyce Johnson, a community organizer, Craig Schley, former fireman and model and Clyde Williams, a former staffer of Presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton.

The newly redrawn distict includes the Bronx neighborhoods of Kingsbridge, Kingsbridge Heights, Norwood, Van Cortlandt Village, Bedford Park and University Heights.
