2. Two teens robbed
corner of Reservoir and Claflin avenues

Two teenage boys were robbed in broad daylight on July 29 in Kingsbridge, police said. The boys, aged 15 and 17, were walking at the corner of Reservoir and Claflin avenues when five other males approached them and threatened to shoot them, the alleged victims told police. The teenagers put their attackers’ age at between 15 and 18. One of the five alleged assailants approached the 17-year-old victim with a knife, while the others searched the boys’ pockets. The attackers made off with two iPhones, worth a total of $1,235, police said. This case is open to detectives.
3. Two men robbed
corner of W. 231st Street and Kingsbridge Terrace
Bronx, NY
Two men were robbed as they were walking home up a staircase on the corner of W. 231st Street and Kingsbridge Terrace on July 26, police said. A man appeared in front of them on the staircase and threatened to shoot them if they moved, the alleged victims told police. The assailant then called four others to his side and the five attackers searched the victims, police said. The attackers fled the scene with two cell phones, worth $100 each, and $130 in cash. This case is open to investigation.
4. Honda Civic Stolen
4030 Kingsbridge Terrace
Bronx, NY
An unknown perpetrator stole a 1998 Honda Civic from opposite 4030 Kingsbridge Terrace, police said. The alleged victim told police he had parked the car at the site when he returned from work at around 10:30 a.m. on July 29, and found it gone when he came back at 2:30 p.m. the next day. This case is closed to patrol.
5. Van Stolen
2701 Sedgwick Ave.
Bronx, NY
A 56-year-old man’s van was stolen this weekend from its location in front of 2701 Sedgwick Ave. The victim told police he parked his 1996 Ford Econoline van at 10 p.m. on July 27 and returned on Monday to find it had been stolen. A canvass of the area produced no results, police said. This case is closed to patrol.
