High school boys PSAL

DeWitt Clinton 64,

Ignacio Matias had 18 points and eight assists for the Governors (12-1), who clinched the Bronx A West title on Jan. 23. Joseph Kennedy scored 15 points and Kenneth Baombolia added 11. Junior Espinal had seven points and six rebounds. Clinton will play at Riverdale/Kingsbridge Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.

Steven Calvo scored 22 points, but the Tigers (2-11 Bronx A West) lost their third in a row on Jan. 23. Halit Vata had 17 points and seven rebounds and Garon Senior added 12 points and eight rebounds.

Jhalil Mason had 21 points, 11 rebounds and five assists for the Panthers (11-1) in Bronx B West on Jan. 22. Frank Pinto added 19 points and six rebounds. Information & Network Technology will play at Albert Tuitt Educational Campus at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday with first place in the division on the line.

Keeshell Garrett scored 23 points, but the Lady Governors (11-3 Bronx A South) had their five-game winning streak snapped on Jan. 22. Clinton will play host to Adlai Stevenson at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday in their penultimate game of the regular season.

Shadai Plowden and Chelsie Then each had 10 points and six rebounds for the Lady Panthers (11-1) in Bronx B West on Jan. 22. RKA is 8-4.

Emmy Andujar added nine points and nine rebounds, as Manhattan moved into a fourth-place tie in the conference standings with Canisius. The Jaspers play host to Siena at 7 p.m. on Friday and play at Monmouth at 2 p.m. on Sunday.
