Bronx Science boys remain undefeated

The Bronx Science boys soccer team is undefeated at the midway point of the regular season, and on Saturday morning, earned a 1-1 tie at rival Evander Childs Campus.

Senior Filip Jovanovic gave the Wolverines (5-0-1) a first-half lead, but Lemario Gordon evened things in the second half.

Bronx Science beat Walton Campus on Monday, 1-0, with Jovanovic assisting junior Luciano Marchio’s first varsity goal.

The Wolverines have outscored their Bronx A Division opponents 16-4, with junior goalie Caden Pavlin earning two shutouts. They visit Kennedy Campus on Thursday for a rematch of the season-opener, which Bronx Science won 3-0.

Senior Nicholas Bienen Esayian and Jovanovic each have three goals and an assist on the season, while sophomore Evan Enochs has three goals and senior Paul Bourdin has two goals and an assist.
