Catholic schools get new principals

Posted

On the first day of school, two Catholic institutions will have new principals greeting students. For Anthony Naccari of the St. Gabriel School, education is a lifelong calling. Teaching is a second career for the Visitation School’s Christopher White, a former police officer. But both described a strong dedication to their students, schools and community.

Mr. Naccari has spent more than three decades teaching, building curriculums and leading professional development in both public and Catholic schools. He comes to St. Gabriel from the St. Philip Neri School on the Grand Concourse, where he taught middle school English Language Arts and ran the religious education department.
