DOT to add alternate side parking signs on Corlear

The Department of Transportation will install additional alternate side parking signs on the east side of Corlear Avenue between West 230th and West 231st streets to inform the public of Wednesday morning street cleaning.
Assemblyman Jeffrey Dinowitz asked the DOT to add signs after receiving complaints from residents who get tickets there.
“The lack of alternate side parking signs has led to dozens of motorists receiving summonses. It is clear that additional signage is needed on this part of Corlear Avenue,” Mr. Dinowitz said in a press release.
The DOT will complete the work by the end of February, according to Mr. Dinowitz.
