Police said a man robbed a 25-year-old woman as she approached her apartment at 2831 Exterior St. on Aug. 7 at 5:30 a.m.

The suspect, an unknown male in a red hoodie, ran up from behind to the victim, pushed her to the ground and reportedly said, “Stop screaming or I’ll shoot you.”

The suspect then punched the woman in the head and took her purse, which contained keys, a credit card and $300 in cash.

There was no record of medical treatment for the victim.

A review of cameras at the rear of the woman’s building did not turn up any results helpful to the investigation. The robbery case remains open to detectives.

2. Attempted robbery at JFK

Two teenagers attempted to rob another boy inside the JFK Educational Campus, located at 99 Terrace View Ave., on August 4 at 11:39 a.m., according to police.

A 15-year-old said while he was walking in a hallway, two Hispanic males about age 16 followed him and called, “Yo, yo.”

The victim ignored the others, who pursued him to a staircase. One suspect then asked the victim “Where you from?” while another took a phone from the teenager’s pocket.

The second suspect punched the victim in the face as he asked for his phone back. The victim managed to recover his phone, suffering bruising and scratches in the scuffle.

As the suspects made off, they said, “We’ll catch you outside.”

The boys were subsequently arrested. Charges against them were not immediately clear.

3. DUI on Broadway

Police said they arrested a 37-year-old man for driving under the influence of alcohol in front of 6555 Broadway around 3:55 a.m. on August 6.

Officers stopped the man, who was driving a black 2011 four-door BMW, for disobeying a stop sign. After issuing him a summons, they notice he was under the influence of a drug or alcohol. The man proved to be unsteady on his feet, with slurred speech and a strong odor of alcohol on his breath.

Upon being taken to a hub for DUI cases at the 45th Precinct, a Breathalyzer test found the man had a .101 blood alcohol level — above the .08 level when drivers are considered intoxicated.

The DUI case was closed to detectives.

4. Grand larceny auto

Police said an unknown suspect stole a 33-year-old’s silver 2011 Toyota RAV4 from the corner of Palisade Avenue and West 232nd Street on Aug. 5 between 6:40 a.m. and 4:29 p.m.

After coming home from work that day, the victim discovered the vehicle, valued at $26,000, missing. Police did not find it during a canvass of the neighborhood and records did not show the RAV4 towed by the NYPD or the city.

The case is closed to detectives, though a police spokesman said it could be reopened if authorities come across the vehicle.

5. Sunday night break-in

After parking his grey Nissan Altima at the corner of Delafield Avenue and Manhattan College Parkway around 9 p.m. on Sunday, a 28-year-old man returned to the area around 6:20 a.m. the following day to discover his rear passenger window broken, according to police.

The victim then noticed a backpack, wallet and credit cards worth a total of $80 missing from the vehicle.

The grand larceny case is open to detectives.
