Food pantry ramps up efforts

Thank you so much for including KRMH Food & Hunger Project, Inc. in the story on food pantries researched by Ms. Morris.  We appreciate your highlighting the challenges that we face. I did speak with Ms. Morris to explain that recipients receive two bags of groceries (cereal, rice, meat and fish products, pasta, tomato sauce, vegetables, beans, evaporated milk, peanut butter and jelly, and canned fruit).  

There are times that we get low and/or run out of a particular item.

We shall stay in contact with you to highlight our Dec. 14 Holiday Gift Bag Packing event at the Riverdale Presbyterian Church from 1 to 2:30 p.m.
