Mike Lighten had touchdown runs in each quarter for Horace Mann (2-0) on Homecoming on Saturday. The senior running back scored on runs of 30, 7, 60 and 9 yards.

Horace Mann plays its first road game of the season at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 27 at New York Military Academy in a Hudson Valley Football League contest.

Senior quarterback Henry Miller threw four touchdown passes, two each to senior tight end Jake Godosky and sophomore running back Justyn Rogers, for the Eagles (2-0) on Saturday, Sept. 27 in Tarrytown.

Miller finished 21-of-32 passing for 244 yards and ran for 74 yards on 13 carries in the team’s inaugural game in the Metropolitan Independent Football League.

Fieldston plays host to Riverdale Country School (0-3), which lost to Montclair Kimberley Academy 40-21 this past weekend, at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 27.

Junior quarterback Brandon Harris threw for a touchdown and ran for two more for the Governors (3-0), who are one of five undefeated teams out of 24 in the City Conference.

Harris was 4-of-9 passing for 92 yards, including a 49-yard touchdown to senior wide receiver Chesley Carter, and ran for 86 yards on 13 carries.

Seniors Ataa Gorden and Donte Hemmans Murdock each had a sack and a fumble recovery.

Clinton visits Harry S. Truman (0-3) at noon on Saturday, Sept. 27.

Senior Jaire Blackwell had six carries for 107 yards and a touchdown and two catches for 88 yards and score for the Knights (2-1) on Saturday.

P.J. Franklyn was 5-of-10 passing for 116 yards with a touchdown and an interception, and ran for 88 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries.

Junior Anthony Williams and senior Charlie Garcia each had two sacks and senior Michael Merced Jr. had an interception.

JFK will play host to Lehman (2-1) at 7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 26.
