In the top of the fourth, with 2 outs, the Leaders’ Izquierdo hit a single and quickly stole second. Delilah Delgado then hit a 2-run homer.
In the bottom of the inning, Bruin Daniela Duffy opened with a single and stole second, followed by a single from Mya Fadda, and an RBI-single by Tiana Kucmierowski. Mia Rodman grounded out to the pitcher but pushed in a run. Becker followed with an RBI single, scoring the third and final run of the inning.
Bruins
Pitcher O’Connell had a 1-2-3 top of the fifth. In the bottom of the inning, McEntire led off with a single and was pushed in by an RBI-double by Dominguez.
Leaders’ hitter Waldron started the top of the sixth with a single and a stolen base but was stranded on second when Bruins pitcher O’Connell struck out the final three batters.
The title game was scheduled for Tuesday, June 19.

Champ Twins in league of their own
The Twins capped off their season with a 9-1 victory over the Yankees in the championship game of the League of Our Own, at Seton Park on Sunday.
The Twins raced out to an early 4-0 lead after the first inning, behind some clutch hitting by Olivia Weinstein.
In the third inning, the Yankees pushed across a run against Twins pitcher Leora Krasner as Neima Fine scored the Yankees lone run of the game.
In the fourth inning, with one runner on base, Kyra Tepler hit a shot to leftfield and circled the bases for a two-run homer.
The Yankees threatened several times, but good defense by the Twins kept them off the scoreboard. Samantha Maryles and Emma Nordlicht made for a good one-two punch at shortstop and third base, making several put outs.
In the bottom of the fifth, Micah Hartman had her first double of the year, and came around to score later in the inning.
