THE BRONX Arts Ensemble will continue its 2010 SummerMusic concert schedule with “A Calliope of Waltzes with the Winds in the Woods,” on Sunday, July 25, at 2 p.m. This outdoor event will take place in Van Cortlandt Park, at Rockwood Drive Circle, near Broadway and Mosholu Avenue. For this program, which is the third in a five-part series, the ensemble will highlight a collection of marches, waltzes, “Water Music” and polkas, including works by Fucik, Holst, Handel, Rosas, Waldteufel, Dvorak and others. Admission is free and open to the public. Limited seating will be provided, but visitors are encouraged to bring folding chairs or blankets from home. For more information, call 718-601-7399. THE KINGSBRIDGE Library, at 280 W. 231st St., presents “Bubbling Bouquet,” a special live concert by Maria Carrie-Lord, which will take place on Saturday, July 31, at 2:30 p.m. For this show, audience members will be treated to an eclectic program of Broadway tunes, blues and Bossa Nova music, including a selection of songs from Cole Porter, Roy Orbison and Bob Dylan, as well as some of the artist’s original compositions. Ms. Carrie-Lord has performed in the Ray Block Orchestra and at a variety of New York City venues, such as the Waldorf-Astoria and Plaza hotels Admission is free and open to the public. THE WESTCHESTER Broadway Theatre presents “Beatlemania,” a live tribute to The Beatles, which will take place on Saturday, July 24, at 6:30 p.m. With a cast of former members from the Broadway production, the unique concert features four professional musicians dressed in authentic costumes and using original instruments to replicate the look and sound of a live Beatles concert. The performance includes renditions of more than 30 of the Beatles’ most popular hits. Tickets cost $75 per person and this fee includes both the show and a meal.
