1. Missing motorcycle 

A 49-year-old man parked his 2011 Honda motorcycle at 88 West 197th St. on Aug. 23 at 10:45 p.m. When he returned the next day at 6 a.m., the red motorcycle was missing, though the man had the keys in his possession. He told police that he did not give anyone permission to use or move the motorcycle. When police reviewed surveillance cameras in the area, they saw an unknown person move and push the $2,500 motorcycle in the street. The grand larceny auto case is open to detectives.

2. Burglary on Claflin Ave.

A 27-year-old woman left her apartment at 2825 Claflin Ave. on Aug. 23 at 11:30 p.m. to go to a party. When she returned from the event at 1:25 a.m., she realized that her apartment had been burglarized. There was no damage to the door. The woman told authorities that no one else had keys to her apartment. According to police, a burglar, who entered through the rear window from a fire escape, ransacked the apartment. Property taken included her $500 iPod 2, a $1,000 Burberry bag, a $1,500 gold tooth with diamonds studs, and Beats headphones. The burglary is under investigation.

3. Wheels and rims

Police said a man parked his Honda at 3240 Cambridge Ave. on Aug. 20 at 2 p.m. When he returned the next day at 9:45 a.m., both passenger wheels and rims were removed from the vehicle.  The tires and rims from the Honda cost approximately $14,000.  The grand larceny case is open to detectives. 

4. Front bumper swiped

A man parked his 2007 Honda Accord on Aug. 22 on the corner of Reservoir and Webb Avenues overnight at 10 p.m. He returned at 6:50 a.m. the next day to find his front bumper and front New York license plate missing. The front bumper cost $250. There were no cameras at the location. Police are investigating the case. 

5. Petty theft

A 20-year-old man was arrested for stealing beer from a Riverdale deli at 452 West 238th St. Police said that at 3:35 p.m. on Aug. 20, the man walked in with a black duffle bag and stuffed it with $60 worth of beer.
