Police seek suspects in fatal shooting

The police have released a video that shows the suspects in the Aug. 24 murder of a man at 4582 Manhattan College Parkway.

The black-and-white video shows a white sedan pulling up to that address. Two individuals are seen exiting the vehicle and then re-entering, although their faces cannot be clearly discerned.

Last Monday, Jorge Luis Vargas was fatally shot in the head and torso in a Manhattan College Parkway apartment, according to police. They found his body after receiving a 911 call around 11 a.m. the following day.

Capt. Terence O’Toole, the commanding officer of the 50th Precinct, said drugs were believed to be involved in the death of the Upper Manhattan resident, but he declined to elaborate.

The police asked anyone with information in regard to the murder to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS.
