'Press' mischaracterized practice

To the editor:

RIVERDALE is AMAZING!  I want to publicly thank the community, distinguished guests, Blue Bay Restaurant and my dear partner, Bob Rubinstein for the lovely wine and cheese event at Blue Bay Restaurant on Jan. 25.

I am humbled as to the overwhelming support I received from the community. In fact, I feel like I really am becoming a member of this illustrious community now! I hope to become ever more intertwined with the accomplished and amazing people of Riverdale.

I would also like to thank Lorraine Coyle for attending the party and pointing out that the piece about me in the Press (“ New laywer in town brings ambitious goals,” Jan. 22)  had some overly broad and general statements that were misquoted. I very much admire Ms. Coyle’s achievements in this area. It is a pleasure and a joy to have such an experienced attorney in this field make sure that the Medicaid process is done correctly.

That is precisely why Bob and I encourage our clients to come in and have the intricacies of Medicaid fully explained, in detail (not in a one-paragraph excerpt from the press). Our commitment is to preserving our clients’ assets so that they can leave legacies to their children and grandchildren.

Thank you so much for welcoming me to Riverdale.  I hope that you will find that I am a great addition to the Riverdale family!
