Ensemble concert

Riverdale Presbyterian Church, located at 4765 Henry Hudson Parkway West, will inaugurate its new concert series with a show by the Bardekova Ensemble at 5 p.m.

The ensemble will perform works by Pachelbel, Haydn, Vivaldi and Mozart.

More performances will be held Sunday, Nov. 15, with the woodwind quintet of the Berdekova Ensemble and on Sunday, Dec. 13, with the Trombone Choir of Montclair State University under the direction of Anthony Mazzocchi.

Bicentennial

The Parish of Saint Margaret of Cortona Church, 6000 Riverdale Ave., will hold a special celebration during its noon Eucharitic Liturgy in honor of the 200th anniversary of the Sisters of Charity of New York.

There will be a reception after the Mass in the parish’s school hall.
