MARISOL DÍAZ/THE RIVERDALE PRESS Tyler Morris from Bronx High School of Science demonstrates some uses of the synthesizer in his digital music class on May 23. The so-called “Moogavox” attracted the attention of other administrators. In 1951, the principal wrote a letter and asking Mr. Moog for a chance to “try my hand” at the instrument.
