THE RIVERTALE Players, a new troupe of professional adult actors at the Riverdale YM-YWHA, will conclude their special production of Pinocchio, with a final performance on Sunday, Nov. 1, at 1 p.m., in the Neuwirth Theatre, 5625 Arlington Ave. This show tells the classic tale of a woodcarver who longs for a son and makes a wooden boy that is brought to life by a blue fairy. After setting out to prove himself a real boy, Pinocchio meets several strange characters and experiences many adventures. LEHMAN CENTER for the Performing Arts presents “MOMIX: Best of Momix,” a special live performance by the internationally known company of dancers and illusionists, on Sunday, Nov. 1, at 6 p.m. Momix transports audiences from their everyday lives to a fantasy world through its trademark use of magical lighting and imagery. Athletic dance, riveting music, outrageous costumes, inventive props and pure talent combine to create an entertaining multimedia experience. This show is a compilation of the group’s most famous and recognizable vignettes from over 25 years of work. Seats range from $25 to $35, but children 12 and younger can get any seat for only $10.
