Trump will make permanent laws against abortion

To the editor:

The Hyde Amendment first passed in Congress in 1976.  At the time Medicaid paid for 300,000 abortions a year.

The bill was held up in the courts until 1977 when it finally went into effect.  Since then it has saved the lives of 2 million children even though 15 states, including New York State have opted to fund abortion through state funds.

But if Hillary Clinton is elected she has promised to get rid of the Hyde amendment (as part of America’s “global health programming”).

Donald Trump is committed to making the Hyde Amendment permanent law.

For Life,
