Writing workshop

Wave Hill, located at West 249th Street and Independence Avenue, will host a “Sunset Poetry” writing workshop from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

This is the second session in the four-part series and is entitled “Interpretations of Japanese Poetic Form.”

Participants will engage with the landscape, generate new poems and take part in poetic play with poet Rachel M. Simon. Both beginning and experienced writers are welcome.

The fee for all four sessions is $90 for members; $125 for nonmembers. Single sessions cost $25 for members; $35 for nonmembers.

The series continues on Wednesdays, July 15 and 29.
