I greatly appreciate Alvin Gordon’s letters to the editor. His opinions and knowledge are a breath of fresh air amidst so much left-wing drivel.

The left adores diversity, except diversity of thought. They don’t want a democracy, but a crushing communism where total conformity is enforced.

The people who want this future will denounce, ridicule and slander anyone who doesn’t conform. The left hopes these tactics will silence the offender as Steve Siegelbaum tried to bully The Riverdale Press into not printing Alvin Gordon’s letters.

The quintessential American saying, “I may not like what you say, but I’ll defend to death your right to say it,” reflects an America that can only exist if people reject “political correctness” in favor of an open and independent mind, able to think for oneself.

Thank you, Alvin Gordon, for bringing diversity of opinion to the pages of The Riverdale Press.
