Look beyond the wall

(re: “Beyond the Wall: Exhibit paints an intimate portrait of Palestinian life in Bethlehem,” Feb. 22)

I applaud your coverage of the unique and significant exhibit, “Beyond the Wall,” a project of the Museum of the Palestinian People.

In a time when there is often too little respectful discourse about the conflict in the Middle East, an exhibit such as this — which seeks to reveal the humanity of Palestinians by showing photographs and artwork from Palestine — is critically important.

Your report and the accompanying photographs revealed many of the key elements of the exhibit, and like the exhibit itself, help foster greater understanding between the Palestinian people and people in the United States.

I hope that your readers are encouraged to go see the exhibit!
