Nothing but a messenger? What a cop-out

To the editor:

(re: “Nothing cowardly or despicable about civic duty,” Dec. 13)

To quote Theodore Roosevelt: “It is not the critic who counts, not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles or where the doer of deeds could have done them better. The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood.”

Mr.  Michael Hinman, you are doing your readers, this community, and your publication a great disservice. And you owe Ms. Rosemary Ginty an apology, for she is truly working to make this community a better place. “We are simply the messengers of information” is a cop-out. Your info is filled with innuendo, apparent bias and assumptions (and we all know … the old saying).
