Police hunting for Kingsbridge Road shooter

Police are looking for man they say shot a teenager in the leg  in front of the Kennedy Fried Chicken on Kingsbridge Road last week.

According to reports, the man — who police described as an Hispanic male wearing all black clothing — fired several shots at a 19-year-old in front of the food place at 67 W. Kingsbridge Road on the outer edge of the 50th Precinct, at around 8:30 p.m., on Oct. 26. Only one of the bullets hit the young man, striking him in the back of the right leg.

The teenager was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital in critical but stable condition, according to police, while the suspected shooter ran off in an unknown direction.
