Today is it! Some of New York's biggest races so far this year are about to be decided ... by you!
One of those races are right here in our own backyard as longtime state Sen. Jeffrey Klein faces a primary challenge from Alessandra Biaggi. In fact, today could be a reckoning for many of the former members of Klein's Indepedendent Democratic Conference, who spent years caucusing with Republicans. Or Democrats could look to unity, and focus more on trying to capture Democratic control of the senate for the first time in years.
There also are primaries underway for attorney general and governor — where Andrew Cuomo is getting a spirited challenger from former "Sex and the City" actress Cynthia Nixon.
