Three men wanted in connection with burglary spree

Posted

Police are looking for three men they say were involved in a series of heists just before Thanksgiving that earned them loot of more than $25,000.

The first burglary, according to the New York Police Department, occurred at the late evening of Nov. 15 at a home near Broadway and West 251st Street, where the three men took off with electronics and brand-name merchandise totaling $8,600.

The three reportedly struck again Nov. 21 at 9:30 a.m., when they allegedly climbed through a window of another home in the same neighborhood, but made off with just $125 worth of property. They tried again that night, this time moving to Post Road and West 253rd Street, getting in through a kitchen window of a home there, allegedly grabbing electronics and jewelry valued at $17,200.

There isn't much to go on, except the fact that the three men were described as "adult male Hispanics" and police believe are featured in a video you can find by clicking here.

Anyone with information in regard to any of these incidents are asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at (800) 577-TIPS, or submit their tips online — either at NYPDCrimeStoppers.com, or on Twitter @NYPDTips. Tips also can be texted to 274637, and then entering "TIP577."

All calls, police say, are strictly confidential.
