What would Mr. Trump do?

Posted

What would Mr. Trump have done:

If Hillary Clinton had proclaimed again and again that Mr. Trump was born in Germany and was therefore not legally the president of the United States?

If Hillary Clinton had repeatedly insisted that Mr. Trump was the founder of ISIS, and that Melania Trump was its co-founder?

If Hillary Clinton had announced that Mr. Trump was the leader of a criminal enterprise called the Trump Foundation and had urged her followers to “lock him up”?

If Hillary Clinton had publicly claimed in 2016 that a vast conspiracy was making it impossible for her to win the election: “I’m afraid the election is going to be rigged. I have to be honest.” And again, “I’m telling you, Nov. 8, we’d better be careful, because that election is going to be rigged.” And again: “It’s a crooked system. We’re running against a rigged system, and we’re running against a dishonest media”?

If Hillary Clinton had publicly warned, with the lights behind her flashing “Rigged,” “We’re going to watch Pennsylvania. Go down to certain areas and watch and study and make sure other people don’t come in and vote five times. If you do that, we’re not going to lose. The only way we can lose, in my opinion — and I really mean this, Pennsylvania — is if cheating goes on”?

If Hillary Clinton had publicly fantasized about a plot by a mysterious “global power structure” that had stripped the United States of its wealth and was meeting in secret with “international banks to plot the destruction of U.S. sovereignty in order to enrich these global financial powers”? And it was that “small handful of global special interests rigging the system, and our system is rigged. This is reality, you know it, they know it, I know it, and pretty much the whole world knows it”?

If Hillary Clinton had said of Donald Trump in 2016 that he “should have been prosecuted and should be in jail. Instead, he is running for president in what looks like a rigged election”? Furthermore, “this election is being rigged by the media pushing false and unsubstantiated charges, and outright lies”?

And again, “You got to go out, You’ve got to go out. And you’ve got to get your friends. And you’ve got to get everyone you know. And you got to watch your polling booths, because I hear too many stories about Pennsylvania. Certain areas. I hear too many bad stories, and we can’t lose an election because of you know what I’m talking about”?

If Hillary Clinton had tweeted, “Election is being rigged by the media, in a coordinated effort with the Trump campaign, by putting stories that never happened into news”? And again, “The election is absolutely being rigged by the dishonest and distorted media pushing Donald Trump — but also at many polling places — sad”? And again, “More evidence of a media-rigged election. Of course there is large-scale voter fraud happening on and before election day”?

If Hillary Clinton had charged that millions of illegal immigrants had made it possible for Donald Trump to win the election? And again, “In many places, like California, the same person votes many times. You’ve probably heard about that.

They always like to say that’s a conspiracy theory.

Not a conspiracy theory, folks. Millions and millions of people”?
