LETTERS TO THE EDITOR

Where are the facts?

Right below my letter in which I criticize Adam Stoler for doing to Alvin Gordon what he falsely accused Gordon of doing to Hillary Clinton, writing nothing but a personal attack, is a letter from Stoler doing the same thing to state Sen. Jeffrey Klein.

Of course, facts would not help Stoler’s argument. Anybody who looks at Klein’s record would not mistake him for a Trump Republican. At the same time, he touts Klein’s opponent, Alessandra Biaggi, without any facts stating why she is a good candidate.

Every other letter that week, including two with opposing views on Community Board 8, give facts and logic to present their views. So does the editorial. Stoler’s letter is nothing more than rhetoric.

Stoler had the gall to say that Gordon’s letters should be banned.

While I have often disagreed with Gordon, he always has presented facts and reasons for his views.

I don’t believe in censorship of anyone, not even Stoler.

But if you were to ban someone, certainly it would be Stoler. He seems to be the type of person James Brown was thinking of when he wrote, “Talking Loud and Saying Nothing.”
