Samba Diallo has more pairs of basketball shoes than the younger version of himself could ever dream of. And on occasion during his collegiate career, he showcased different color schemes with one half of his footwear game unique in appearance. He didn’t do it to be different. Rather, it was his reminder of how his story was different.

The night-capper for the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference semifinals round pitted Manhattan College men’s lacrosse against a team they had yet to figure out this season. Ultimately, this year’s runner-up, the Siena Saints, got the last laugh at Gaelic Park, winning 11-8 and proving to be road warriors at the expense of the top seed Jaspers.

The College of the Holy Cross named senior Justin Hudson of greater Riverdale to the fall 2022 dean’s list. Hudson passed four or more letter-graded courses with no failing grades during the semester, maintaining a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.
