NYCD16-Indivisible stands for the reproductive freedom of all people. We believe everyone should have the right to control what happens to their bodies, including making the decision whether or not to have a child, as well as the right to parent children in a safe and healthy environment.

While I am quite pleased that The Riverdale Press is paying attention to the poison ivy in Van Cortlandt Park, I am looking in dismay at a photograph — not of poison ivy (three leaves), but the not-at-all poisonous Virginia creeper (five very obvious leaves).

As we all know, we need a healthy postal service for basic services like letters, packages and delivery of medications. But we also need it for the big picture issues vital to our democracy. A reliable census and the integrity of vote-by-mail, which in this time of crisis, must be vastly expanded. And it will be impossible without a robust, reliable U.S. Postal Service.
