9/11 remembered at Endor Garden

The Friends of Endor Community Garden and 9/11 Memorial have expanded the list of names on the memorial plaque to include additional fire and police department member and community members who perished during the 2001 terrorist attack.

A ceremony is planned for Sept. 11 at 2 p.m. at Endor Garden, which is at Fieldston Road and W. 253rd Street. It is open to the public.

As a tribute to the 24 Riverdale area residents who died when the World Trade Center was attacked, The Riverdale Press and Friends of Endor Community Garden and 9/11 Memorial will never forget them. The list was expanded to include those who have died after the attack due to 9/11-related illnesses.

The names of those memorialized are listed below:
