Alexander Huster — father, grandfather, 83

Alexander Huster

Alexander Seleme Huster died Saturday, Jan. 8, 2022. He was 83.

After meeting Roz, they soon began a loving marriage which spanned 60 years of utter and complete devotion.

She survives him, as do his devoted daughters Dora, Eileen and Stephannie, as well as grandchildren Jonathan, Alexandra and Ashleigh.

He was blessed with his great-grandchildren Khloe Mia and Kameryn Alejandro.

He was also a devoted son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend.

He was the wind beneath the wings of all his family, and all who knew and loved him. He lit up whatever room he walked into. He was larger than life, and he challenged everyone around him to be the same. He will always be forever in their hearts, and they will miss him every single day.

Rest in peace, Alex, Daddy, Grandpa and Popi.

Reposing was held Friday, Jan. 14 at Riverdale-on-Hudson Funeral Home on Rivedale Avenue.

A Mass of Christian burial took place Saturday, Jan. 15 at St. Margaret of Cortona Church.
