ATV driver dies in Broadway crash

Anthony Perez, 31, died in a collision in front of 6495 Broadway on Saturday. 

Officer Steve Cordero of the 50th Precinct said the Yonkers resident was driving a Yamaha all-terrain vehicle down Broadway when he attempted to overtake a 2013 Ford Suburban while making a turn into an underground parking garage. 

Mr. Perez’s ATV struck the SUV and hit another vehicle parked at the location, at which point he was thrown from his vehicle.  

He was transported to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Yonkers, where he died as a result of his injuries. 

None of the drivers involved in the collision have been charged.
