Brief reign of Liz Truss

Liz Truss, we hardly knew ye.

Elizabeth II had a 70-year reign, queen for more than 25,000 days.

That’s 550 times more than Prime Minister Truss lasted, whose 45-day spell is a tiny raft passing an ocean liner in the night.

But Truss did exceed the one-month cycle it takes a rabbit to produce a bunny. And she spared herself serious jail time where abortion is banned after 15 weeks.
