Burglars clear out T-Mobile store on Riverdale Ave

T-Mobile reported a burglary at its 5670 Riverdale Ave. location Saturday, Feb. 25.

According to police, the perpetrators gained entrance by cutting the storefront’s gate locks and breaking the glass door.

A total of $16,740 worth of merchandise was taken, police said, including seven Apple iPhones, six iPads, and other devices.

Detectives with the 50th Precinct are investigating.

Co-op burglary caught on camera

Police received a report of a burglary Sunday, Feb. 19 inside 3636 Greystone Ave., a six-story co-op building with 92 units.

According to police, the victim said someone entered the property and removed a hand truck and ten boxes of trash bags. The items are estimated to be worth $300.

Police said there is camera footage of the incident.

Segway stolen from garage

The owner of a Segway reported it was stolen Thursday, Feb. 23 from inside a garage at 600 W. 249th St.

The victim told police someone entered the garage and removed the Segway before fleeing in an unknown direction. It is estimated to be worth $300.

Detectives with the 50th Precinct are investigating.
