Sonia Manzano reads her book to children on opening day at the Bronx Children’s Museum in the South Bronx Dec. 3. Families enjoy the interactive waterways at the new museum. The 13,650-square-foot permanent space features site-specific art installations and interactive exhibits. Geared for children from infancy to fourth grade, exhibit highlights include The Waterways, a 35-foot-long water table where children can launch boats, splash and play with locks and bridges while learning about local rivers and beaches.
