Harris/Walz ticket needs to be a rising tide for all income levels

To the editor:

There is no doubt in my mind that, as president and vice president, Kamala Harris and Tim Walz will do everything in their power to improve the standard of living of the middle class. 

What I hope to hear but, so far, never have is, “And we will do everything in our power to lift people in the lower class into the middle class."
