1. Cuffed for card fraud
193 W. 237th St.

A man trying to use stolen credit cards at Buffalo Wild Wings was arrested on May 3, according to police. The manager of the restaurant at 193 W. 237th St. told police that the 19-year-old suspect tried using three fraudulent credit cards to pay for his meal before the police responded to the call. Upon searching the suspect’s car, they found three more fake cards and a laptop connected to a credit card skimming device. The case is closed due to arrest.
2. Tires and rims stolen
Manhattan College parkway and Waldo Avenue
Bronx, NY
Police said sometime between May 3 at 4 p.m. and 11 p.m. the following day, the tires and rims were stolen from a 2016 Honda Accord. The victim, 37, parked his car on the corner of Manhattan College parkway and Waldo Avenue. When he returned he found his car suspended on milk crates. The rims were valued at $2,920, and the case is still open to detectives.
3. Glasses stolen off victim's face
West 235th Street and Netherland Avenue
Bronx, NY
A woman told police that she was walking on the corner of West 235th Street and Netherland Avenue when an unknown perpetrator ran up to her and took her glasses from her face. The thief then fled down Johnson Avenue before the victim, 33, lost sight of him.  Police said that this case is still open to detectives.
4. Robber caught
West Kingsbridge Road and Webb Avenue
Bronx, NY
An 83-year-old woman was attacked at the corner of West Kingsbridge Road and Webb Avenue, according to police. A man reportedly approached her and began trying to take money out of her hands on May 7.  After a short struggle, during which the victim suffered cuts and lacerations to her hands, the perpetrator fled with the money, but was caught by police. The case is closed.
5. Broadway burglary
5532 Broadway
Bronx, NY
Police said unknown suspects burglarized the Auntie Anne’s pretzel shop inside the mall at 5532 Broadway on Sunday. A security guard told police he heard noise coming from the shop while it was closed. He then reportedly saw a person flee toward Broadway, but could not catch him. The store manager said the front door of the establishment was shattered and $200 was stolen from a cash register. The case remains open to detectives.
