Miscreants most foul

To the editor:

As an elder, I’ve lived through many political crises in this country—but I have never seen an attack on our democracy like this. In the past, there was bipartisan opposition to lawlessness. Today, the guardrails are being dismantled before our eyes, and we must sound the alarm.

The Trump regime is gutting our democracy. There has to be action now to get him and his minions out of the White House. We can't wait for the mid-terms -- every day is more disaster and heartbreak.

Our challenge is to rewrite history, Congress must step up with further protections from tyrants and miscreants such of these most foul.
