To the editor:
Jose Vega is running as an independent candidate for U.S. Congress on the Larouche line in the 15th District. He chose this to remind us of his work with the American system and infrastructure promoter and candidate, the late Lyndon Larouche.
Vega got on the ballot after filing more than 11,000 signatures. He and his chorus, The Friends of Jose Vega, sang at the Riverdale 9/11 memorial event in Endor Garden.
Vega’s platform includes:
Stop the genocidal wars in Gaza, Ukraine, Africa and around the world.
Rebuild the Bronx: Make the Bronx the pivot point for a high-speed rail network connecting New York State and onward to the west coast and southern United States.
Transform the Bronx into a science center through a national Space Civilian Construction Corps.
I am writing this to remind voters they have a choice for U.S. Congress in the 15th District.
