Ritchie did the right thing

To the editor:

After sending a letter-to-the editor last week titled “Hey Ritchie, give the money back!” I have since learned that Rep. Torres has indeed, returned the donations in question from individuals holding harsh views on deportations. Regrettably, an error of omission can only be corrected by giving the full picture which I hope to do now. Appreciation goes to the Riverdale Press for allowing a range of views to be shared so that hopefully people with different viewpoints can come to a better understanding that leads to peace for all.
