Spanish, French teacher Vivienne Skloot, 95

Vivienne Skloot, 95, died in her home in Ardsley on Jan. 10, 2021.

She received her bachelor’s degree from Hunter College and her master’s degree from Lehman College. She was a Riverdale resident for more than 50 years.

She taught Spanish and French at the local junior high school for many years.

She was preceded in death by her husband Seymour Skloot, to whom she was married to for more than 50 years. She is survived by her two children, Stuart Skloot and Gwen Skloot, and her three grandchildren.

She was an avid bridge player, and a golfer.

Services are private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
