During the annual West 251st Street St. Patrick’s Day Parade on March 11 John PL Kelly of Fieldston stands with a contingent of students from English Language Learners and International Support Preparatory Academy located in John F. Kennedy High School. He and his wife, Pamela, have produced the parade the past four years. They had a bag piper and a banner made from rags that 20 neighbors helped assemble. The parade, which attracted 150 people, also drew members of the New York City parks mounted police, city sanitation department and the MTA. The Riverdale Nature Preservancy also had a group of people take part.
