Vietnam sharpshooter Richard Reason 67
In honor of Richard Alton Reason, 67, of the Bronx, who passed on May 8, 2020, at James J. Peters VA Medical Center.
A Vietnam veteran and a sharpshooter for the U.S. Army, he was born on Aug. 13, 1952, in Norfolk, Virginia, son of Powell Beasley Smith Reason and Evelyn Reason nee Andrews.
He is survived by his wife Luanne Reason nee Dooley, married in Dearborn Heights, Michigan, on Dec. 14, 1984.
He is survived by his children: Richard Reason, Duane Reason, Kourtney Aracena, Ainsley Stern, Tracy Lewis, Anthony Reason, Brittany Reason, Aubrey Reason, and Logan Reason.
He also is the grandfather of 18 and great-grandfather of one.
He was the brother of Mary Elizabeth Hatcher nee Reason, Wayne Reason (deceased), Carol Miller nee Reason, Michael Reason (deceased), and Garnett Reason.
A memorial service will be held in the summer.
