Volunteers needed to save democracy at voting precincts

To the editor:

The Jan. 6 hearings have demonstrated how the normalization of lies in political communication has eroded our faith in government and in the validity of elections.

Valid elections are the foundation of democracy, and we are on the precipice of losing our democracy. Volunteers are desperately needed to serve at the polls and ensure that no eligible voter is turned away.

I urge every American to listen to the hearings, and volunteer to work at the polls or monitor the polls. Register to volunteer for election protection to make sure we protect the results of the 2022 election at CMNCA.us/jan6ep.
