Who should Israel make peace?

Mr. Charles Moerdler’s tirade is starting to sound like an educated person’s version of the rants from the questionable mind of Alvin Gordon. Actually piggy-backing these rants in the same print edition makes for an interesting comparison — neither leaves room for a dissenting viewpoint.

However, that begs a question to the more rational ranter, Mr. Moerdler: Just who is Israel to make peace with if not its sworn enemy?

Perhaps Israel should try making peace with Italy and Mexico? Or Canada? Yes, a friendly face! There you go, sir!

Menachem Begin made peace with sworn enemies of the state of Israel, who at the time of peace talks, continued to talk the line of belief of Israel’s destruction.

So there’s a reason Mr. Moerdler is no diplomat, nor could he qualify as one: He’s blind to opportunity.

As for irrational and ad hominem-slurring Alvin Gordon, ignoring him seems a better choice. Maybe he will just go away.

There’s always hope.
