20/20 hindsight: looking back on the last year

Marked by extreme weather in Riverdale, Kingsbridge and around the world, 2010 came with crimes of desperation, school scandals and funding cuts.

There was construction and corruption aplenty and no lack of rising stars who catapulted themselves to the next levels in their fields and crafts.
A tumultuous political campaign season was followed by upheavals both locally and nationally.

The green movement was evident in the activities and goals of residents, schools and institutions throughout the year.

The Press celebrated its 60th birthday. And now we take stock in the year.
