Words of wisdom

The Jonas Bronck Academy graduated 47 eighthgraders in a ceremony on June 18, held in Manhattan College's Smith Hall.

Councilman Oliver Koppell delivered the keynote address after which the school chorus and band performed "No One" by Alicia Keys.

Ivette Aguilera was named class valedictorian.
